City College, Pepperdine, Otis Art Institute; his career as an artist, gallery owner, lecturer; the Civil Rights Movement and African-American artists' struggle to gain access to galleries and museums; his participation in the "Christopher Columbus did not discover America" exhibition and others; committee work and participation on Arts' Councils and Commissions.
